Sara Groya is a cut and color stylist with 13 years behind the chair—and still as invested in the craft as day one. Her range is wide: lived-in texture, shags, short crops, and edgy cuts sit comfortably alongside sharp precision bobs and effortless, bouncy blowouts. Whatever you're going for, she's done it and loved it.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Sara has made a few laps—Portland, Milwaukee, back to Salt Lake—and has landed back in Portland for good. Outside the salon, life revolves around her wife, their chihuahuas Benny and Sprout, and a packed travel itinerary. When she's not on the road, you'll find her at a live show, deep in a comedy podcast, or happily settled in for a full TV marathon. Her chair is a judgment-free zone with good energy, honest conversation about what your hair can actually do, and probably a few unsolicited chihuahua photos.
